Public Education

The Loomis Fire Protection District is proud to have a very close relationship with the community. We offer a wide range of services within our Public Education program. We will provide an educational and informative tour for any group wishing to visit us. Groups that frequently request station tours are schools, day cares, and local scout troops. Due to the training schedule of our firefighters and staff we ask for a 14 day advance notice when booking a station tour. California's Car Seat Law requires that children use a child safety restraint system until they are
6 years old or 60 pounds.

The Loomis Fire Protection District proudly participates in the Buckle Up Baby - Child Passenger Safety Program. Many car seats are not installed properly. As part of the Buckle Up Baby program, trained Fire Department personnel can inspect or help you install your car seat to make sure that your child is riding safely and legally.
