Board of Directors

The five-member board of directors governs the District. Board members are elected by the general population residing within the district boundaries and serve for staggered four-year terms.

The Board appoints the Fire Chief as the lead manager and administrator of the District. The part-time Fire Chief operates the District with a staff of:

  • One part-time Chief
  • One part-time District Secretary
  • Two full-time Captains
  • Three full-time Engineers
  • Two full-time Firefighters

In addition, the District employs:

  • Two part-time Captains
  • Three part-time firefighters
  • Seven Resident Volunteer Firefighters

BOARD MEETINGS

The regular meeting of the Fire District Board of Directors is at Station 28, 5840 Horseshoe Bar Rd. Loomis CA. at 5:30 P.M. on the second Wednesday of each month. The public is encouraged to attend.
