Board of Directors
The five-member board of directors governs the District. Board members are elected by the general population residing within the district boundaries and serve for staggered four-year terms.
The Board appoints the Fire Chief as the lead manager and administrator of the District. The part-time Fire Chief operates the District with a staff of:
- One part-time Chief
- One part-time District Secretary
- Three full-time Captains
- Three full-time Engineers
- One full-time Firefighter
In addition, the District employs:
- Two part-time Captains
- Two Apprentice Firefighters
- Twelve Reserve Volunteer Firefighters
BOARD MEETINGS
The regular meeting of the Fire District Board of Directors is at Station 28, 5840 Horseshoe Bar Rd. Loomis CA. at 5:30 P.M. on the second Wednesday of each month. The public is encouraged to attend. |
